Our Purpose
We are a non-profit organization whose objective is to help disadvantaged people in Mexico. The role of Ayudamexico is to support carefully selected charities who are directly involved in the empowerment of underprivileged communities across the country.
Founded by Miguel Steiner in 2004, Ayudamexico is committed to supporting communities who are broadly overlooked by the larger humanitarian organizations. Historically our selected causes have been based around children foster homes, education, sustainability and medical aid.
Our Founder, Miguel Steiner (1943-2018)
Having spent many of his early years living in Mexico, Miguel Steiner always kept a strong connection to the colourful country that filled his youth with wonderful memories. Driven by an extraordinary sense of compassion for the less fortunate and by his love for Mexico, Miguel Steiner spent a lot of his time travelling the country in search for opportunities to bring positive change to the less-fortunate.
Once the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Zürich (Switzerland), Miguel always attempted to find better ways to bring help to those in need. Our organization's efforts is a continuation of Miguel's vision to make a real impact in people's lives.

Our Programs
Ayudamexico is the proud donor of a selection of charitable causes. Our main objective is to build a long-standing relationship with the directors of each organization. Over time, we hope to drive the much needed changes in their respective communities. Newly submitted projects undergo a due diligence process before being presented to the board members for approval. Criteria for approval differs depending on the type of cause, but aims to maintain an approach consistent with the broad vision of our late founder Miguel Steiner: to reinforce underserved communities across Mexico.
